Philippine Span Asia Carrier Corp. (Manila) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring timely acquisition of quality goods and services at the most competitive cost.

The successful candidate will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, category management, and vendor performance while driving cost savings, operational efficiency, and compliance with procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years in Purchasing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or SCM.
• Experience in logistics, shipping, maritime, or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Importation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned purchasing categories and develop sourcing strategies.
• Lead competitive bidding and supplier evaluation and award.
• Conduct market research, cost benchmarking, and TCO analysis.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value initiatives.
• Monitor procurement spend and supplier performance within categories.
• Review PRs, negotiate terms, and manage contracts and SOWs.
• Coordinate with business units on requirements and specs.
• Support end-to-end P2P process and ERP enhancements.
• Monitor contracts and renewals; re-bid as needed.
