Job summary

TOA Global is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage the financial operations of a portfolio of conventional multifamily properties in Cebu, Philippines. You will maintain the general ledger, process AP/AR, perform bank reconciliations, and support month-end close activities, working with property management teams and ownership stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with real estate or property management accounting.
• Proficiency with property management platforms Yardi, RealPage, MRI, or AppFolio.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot, lookup, sumifs).

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger for assigned multifamily properties and prepare journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve items in a timely manner.
• Support annual property budgets, reforecasts, and cash management.
• Process vendor invoices from coding to payment scheduling; ensure audits and 1099 readiness.
• Post rent receipts and reconcile resident ledgers; review rent roll.
• Collaborate with property managers, vendors, and ownership; support 1099s and audits.
