Job summary

Coherent Philippines Pte Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and improve equipment reliability in Laguna Calamba. This 100% onsite role requires hands‑on maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems, with participation in shift handovers and CI activities.

You will document technical records, support installations, and provide operator training while aligning with ICARE values and safety standards.

Qualifications

Technical vocational or engineering degree with preference for a bachelor’s degree.
3–5 years of equipment maintenance experience in semiconductor or optoelectronics.
Hands‑on with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, motion control systems.
Willing to work on rotating shifts and support during production ramp‑up.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance following procedures and manuals.
Maintain maintenance records, spare-parts usage, downtime reports, and action logs.
Analyze records to reduce downtime and implement improvements.
Assist engineers with run‑to‑fail parts, part lifetime, and maintenance frequency.
Support installation, commissioning, calibration, and upgrades.
Provide basic equipment training to operators and technicians.
Participate in shift handovers, meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
