Job summary

PaxSigna is seeking a security analyst to perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing in Ortigas, Pasig. The role is onsite with a compensation up to ₱60,000, requiring 1+ year of VAPT experience and strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10.

You will prepare reports, present findings to stakeholders, and support remediation efforts across teams, with focus on vulnerability tracking, CVE monitoring, and cloud security assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity or related four-year degree.
• At least 1 year of hands-on VAPT testing experience.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 in web app security testing.
• Hands-on with security testing tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Qualys, Nessus, Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP.
• Ability to identify and validate vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across web applications, mobile applications, and other environments.
• Prepare, document, and submit VAPT reports and other security documentation.
• Present assessment findings with actionable remediation recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support cybersecurity and non-cybersecurity teams in vulnerability assessments and testing activities.
• Validate, monitor, and track vulnerabilities through remediation and closure.
• Monitor CVEs, zero-day vulnerabilities, and cloud security assessments.
• Contribute to Threat Exposure and Attack Surface Management initiatives.
• Analyze vulnerabilities, assess business impact, and recommend mitigation measures.
