Job summary

A public research university is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to support the Social Innovation Research Center. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, document management, and assisting in research writing. Preferred qualifications include a four-year degree in a Social Science field and experience in research writing. The position offers a Salary Grade of 7 at a rate of PHP 137.11/hour.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in research writing, particularly in social science and business research.
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks and document management.
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all administrative tasks such as document review and communication.

Job description

One (1) Administrative Assistant I – SG 7

(Under Job Order; To be assigned at the Social Innovation Research Center, BatStateU – Central Administration)

Education: Graduate of a four-year course, preferably any Social Science course such as Development Communication, Mass Communication, etc.

Experience: At least 1 year experience on research writing, particularly social science and business researchers

Competencies: Research, data analysis, data management, and office management. Salary Grade 7 – (137.11/hour)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs all administrative tasks such as review of documents and other important files of the office such as but not limited to letters, forms, invitations, MOA, daily time record of staff under the office; take phone calls, respond to emails; compiles, photocopies, sorts, and files records and activities; disseminates and distributes outgoing documents to other offices; coordinates the flow of information both internally and externally; monitors the available supplies in the office.
  • Organizes files and documents for easy retrieval in preparing reports required by the office.
  • Assists in writing proposals and research papers ie. review of related literature, summary of results, etc.
  • Assists in the preparation of charts, graphs, and other related materials for reports and presentations as the need arises.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor. Qualified applicants should signify their interest in writing.
