Job summary

Eagle Cement Corporation (MNL) is seeking a Health and Safety professional to lead on-site HSE initiatives in Bulacan. The role focuses on developing safety policies, communicating best practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance within cement/industrial environments.

The candidate should hold a Professional Engineering license with relevant experience, and may require BOSH and MGB credentials, with willingness to work at Akle, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Professional Engineering license (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering—Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, Chemical or related field.
• With at least three (3) years of work experience in a related field.
• Preferably with BOSH certification and MGB accreditation.
• With exposure to the cement, mining, or power plant industries.
• Must be willing to be assigned to Akle, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements policies, procedures, and other health and safety standards on-site.
• Disseminates and communicates to all employees the best practices for health and safety that can be applied to day-to-day activities.
• Investigates work procedures in hazardous environments; identifies, assesses, and controls hazards.
• Inspects equipment, materials, and substances being used on-site.
• Ensures timely submission of monthly and quarterly health and safety reports.
• Prepares government-mandated reports and represents the company in dealings with external agencies.
• Formulates an emergency response program for the company in compliance with government regulatory requirements.
