Job summary

Hitachi Digital Payment Solutions Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments. You will manage deployment in Kubernetes clusters, containers, and microservices, using Helm, GitLab CI, and related tools.

The role requires hands-on experience with Ansible, Maven, JIRA, Java, REST API, and monitoring via Grafana. On-site in Makati City, you will collaborate with development teams to automate pipelines, scale

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
2–4 years' experience with Ansible, Maven, JIRA and key technologies including Java and REST API.
Experience with Linux/Windows, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Grafana monitoring.
Knowledge of application servers and databases (Jboss, Tomcat, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2).
Familiarity with SOAP testing tools ReadyAPI/SoapUI Pro and related workflows.
Amenable to work on-site in Makati City.

Responsibilities

Develop CI/CD pipelines and manage test, build, and deployment processes across environments.
Design and maintain architectures and automation for zero-downtime deployment.
Research, integrate, and automate deployment of multiple tools and services.
Work with Docker, Grafana and Kubernetes to scale and monitor microservices.
Use Helm and GitLab CI to automate deployments.
Collaborate with development teams to set up automation pipelines and resolve issues.
Partner with DevOps engineers to implement optimal solutions and participate in on-call duties.
Build geo-distributed infrastructure.
