Job summary

A tech services company in Manila is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for contract work. This role requires hands-on support for mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities. Responsibilities include hardware installations, structured cabling, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, strong cabling skills, and professional communication in English. Compensation ranges from ₱440 to ₱615 per hour. Own transportation is required and this is an on-site position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.

Skills

Data center experience

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a)

Server hardware experience

Professional communication skills in English

Education

Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar)

Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+)

Tools
