Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician for freelance work in Cavite, Philippines. This on-site role involves essential tasks such as hardware installations, structured cabling, and troubleshooting in premier data center facilities. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, strong cabling skills, and be capable of lifting heavy equipment. Compensation ranges from ₱440 to ₱615 per hour, depending on experience and project complexity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)
