Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology in Manila, Philippines, seeks an OJT Process Technician to help develop and implement manufacturing methods and sequence operations within the production area. The role focuses on defining process requirements and recommending equipment for product lines, while executing Process-FMEA analyses and monitoring SPC systems to minimize risks.

Responsibilities

• Operate in the production area to develop, implement, and manage manufacturing methods, processes and operation sequences.
• Define process requirements, working procedures and provide equipment recommendations for product lines.
• Execute Process-FMEA analyses and identify sources of failures to mitigate risks.
• Define process control methodologies and manage statistical process control systems for out-of-control situations.
• Liaise with Quality Assurance to respond to customer inquiries and with Design Engineers to coordinate new product launches.
• Assist in technical analytics to support function-specific concepts and test/implement assigned processes or technical infrastructure.
• Provide assembly and installation of assigned modules/parts according to detailed work plans.
