Prime Hospital and Medical Center Pasig is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to assess patients, develop rehabilitation plans, and lead therapeutic activities focused on ADLs, mobility, cognition, and independence.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, valid PRC license, and at least 2 years of hospital-based experience, with strong communication and documentation skills.
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify patients’ physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional limitations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
Provide therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, functional mobility, coordination, strength, cognition, and independence.
Assist patients in developing skills for self-care, work, school, and community participation.
Provide cognitive, sensory, motor, and psychosocial interventions as clinically appropriate.
Recommend and train patients in the proper use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
Educate patients and families regarding home programs, safety, positioning, and continued rehabilitation.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely patient assessments, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Observe hospital infection-control, safety, and clinical policies.
Participate in case conferences, continuing education, and departmental activities.
Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from a recognized institution.
Licensed Occupational Therapist in the Philippines with current PRC registration.
Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Occupational Therapy experience.
Strong clinical knowledge of assessment, rehabilitation, therapeutic activities, and patient care.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Compassionate, patient-centered, responsible, and professional.
Strong clinical reasoning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Knowledge of assistive devices, adaptive techniques, and home-based rehabilitation programs is an advantage.
