Position Title: Occupational Safety & Health Officer

Job Summary:

  • Manages compliance to standards on occupational safety & health through implementation and evaluation of employee safety, health and wellness programs/initiatives.

Role Exposure:

  • Conceptualization, design and implementation of employee safety, health & wellness programs/initiatives
  • Ensure compliance and proper implementation of the DOLE standards on Occupational Safety & Health e.g. Maintenance of Health & Safety Committee, OSH related Trainings, Health & Safety Programs & Advisories, Workplace Accident and Illness Reporting, and Emergency & Pandemic Plans
  • Conduct of regular risk assessment and audit to ensure a safe and healthy workplace
  • Oversee handling of third-party provider such as medical clinics and canteens
  • Handle reporting and database management of OSH related programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or any related courses.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in employee health/wellness and/or safety role, preferably within a corporate office environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop programs, policies and procedures.
  • With effective database management skills.
