Job summary

International SOS (Phils.), Inc. seeks an Occupational Health Nurse to support clinical care at corporate clinics and assist the Medical and Operations teams in delivering contracted healthcare services.

The role requires a Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of OHN experience; preferred BOSH/OHNAP or BSL certification. Responsibilities include patient management, emergency care, medical transfers, record-keeping, and clinic governance.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with active license.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience under OHN.
• Preferably with BOSH – OHNAP and/or BSL certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient consultations, treat minor illnesses/injuries, and provide initial stabilization and emergency care.
• Facilitate medical transfers to designated medical facilities by ambulance.
• Conduct basic diagnostic testing and employee health check examinations.
• Provide nursing/medical consultations and coordinate with Site Physician for referrals or specialist consultations.
• Maintain treatment rooms in audit-ready state and ensure emergency equipment is calibrated and functional.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain for medications and disposables, ensuring stock levels and expiry dates.
• Conduct hygiene inspections and infection control audits; drive patient satisfaction surveys.
• Produce timely data-driven reports for the Medical Director and Operations Manager.
• Mentor new staff on clinic processes; ensure compliance with health and safety obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Patient Management

Emergency & Primary Care

• Deliver outpatient consultations, treat minor illnesses/injuries, and provide initial stabilization and emergency care for acute cases.
• Medical Transfers: Facilitate and assist in the safe transfer of patients to designated medical facilities via ambulance.
• Diagnostic & Preventative: Conduct basic diagnostic testing and employee health check examinations.
• Clinical Liaison: Provide nursing/medical consultations and coordinate with the Site Physician for complex case referrals or specialist consultations.

Clinic Operations & Governance

• Facility Oversight: Maintain treatment rooms in an audit-ready state and ensure all emergency equipment is calibrated and functional.
• Inventory Control: Manage the end-to-end supply chain for medications and disposables, ensuring accurate stock levels and monitoring expiry dates.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular hygiene inspections and infection control audits; implement patient satisfaction surveys to drive continuous improvement.

Reporting & Documentation

• Medical Records: Ensure accurate, contemporaneous documentation of all patient encounters and secure storage of medical records.
• Operational Reporting: Produce timely data-driven reports for the Medical Director and Operations Manager regarding clinic activity and asset movement.

Team Leadership & Safety

• Mentorship: Train and mentor new staff on clinic-specific processes, fostering a supportive and professional team environment.
• Health & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with OHS legislative obligations, reporting hazards or injuries immediately and participating in safe workplace development.
