Qualifications

• Registered nurse (Registered or Unregistered).
• Minimum of 2 years of injector or aesthetic nursing experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical spa.
• Cosmetic injectables certification and advanced laser knowledge preferred.
• Deep understanding of facial anatomy, skin physiology, complication management, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical histories, assess conditions and plan safe treatments.
• Administer neuromodulators and dermal fillers under physician supervision with natural results.
• Perform laser resurfacing, IPL, RF microneedling, chemical peels, and body contouring.
• Monitor patient comfort, manage adverse reactions, and provide pre-/post-care education.
• Maintain accurate EMR with treatment parameters, dosages, lot numbers, and sites.
• Collaborate with dermatology team and educate clients on skincare regimens.

About the role

DERM STUDIO is seeking a highly skilled, patient-centric Nurse-Aesthetician to join our premier dermatology clinic. This specialized role blends advanced clinical nursing expertise with aesthetic artistry to deliver high-end, medical-grade skin treatments. Working alongside our board-certified dermatologists, you will play a critical role in conducting medical consultations, administering injectables, and performing advanced laser therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient medical histories, evaluate skin conditions, assess contraindications, and formulate comprehensive, safe treatment plans
• Administer neuromodulators (e.g., Botox, Dysport) and dermal fillers under the supervision of the attending physician, ensuring natural-looking, symmetrical results
• Perform medical-grade procedures including laser resurfacing, IPL, RF micro-needling, chemical peels, and body contouring treatments
• Monitor patient comfort during treatments, manage potential adverse reactions, and provide thorough pre- and post-care education
• Maintain meticulous, accurate electronic medical records (EMR) detailing treatment parameters, product dosages, lot numbers, and injection sites
• Work closely with the dermatology team to cross-refer patients, while educating clients on medical-grade skincare product regimens to enhance treatment results

About you

• Registered or Unregistered Nurse
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an injector or aesthetic nurse within a dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical spa environment
• Specialized certification in cosmetic injectables (neurotoxins/fillers) and advanced laser physics/operation is highly preferred
• Deep understanding of facial anatomy, skin physiology, complication management, and strict adherence to infection control standards
• Exceptional bedside manner, consultative sales communication, and the ability to manage client expectations with empathy
