Job summary

Advanced Energy in Denver designs highly engineered power solutions and seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive NPI supplier quality across proto to DVT stages. You will establish the Quality Critical Component List (QCCL), define qualification strategies, and ensure readiness before first Article builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).
• Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent certification preferred.
• 4 - 6 + years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality, NPI Quality, or Manufacturing Quality. Experience supporting complex, high‑reliability products in industries such as semiconductor equipment, industrial, medical devices, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong expertise in supplier quality, NPI execution, and risk management.
• Working knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, APQP, PPAP, and FAI processes.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without authority.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality execution across NPI phases (Proto, EVT, DVT).
• Prevent critical supplier‑related quality incidents during NPI through early risk identification and mitigation.
• Partner with NPI QPM to ensure supplier quality readiness aligns with program milestones and phase gates.
• Provide supplier quality approval supporting NPI phase exits and DVT readiness.
