Job summary
Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced NPI Quality Engineer for our Philippines site to drive quality deliverables during initial launch phases.
You will coordinate APQP activities, PFMEA, and Control Plans, ensuring readiness and compliance with customer requirements. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with 8D, FMEA, MSA, and SPC, and the ability to work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure a successful product
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field required.
- Minimum five years in quality engineering within manufacturing.
- Strong interpersonal communication and listening abilities.
Responsibilities
- Liaise for Advanced Quality Planning activities with internal gate reviews and program teams.
- Ensure product specifications compliance for sample shipments.
- Support and implement PFMEA, Control Plans, and readiness reviews for launches.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering on Poke Yoke strategies and Control Plans.
- Attend launch program meetings and customer process reviews/audits.
- Oversee MSA studies and Gage R&R for launching programs.
