Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a NOC Support Associate in a hybrid role based in the Philippines. You will monitor networks, servers, and applications, respond to alerts, and escalate issues while coordinating with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents.

The position requires a IT-related bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in NOC/IT support, with knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and common monitoring tools. Hybrid work setup with on-call flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Network Operations, IT Support, or NOC environments.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network devices, servers, and applications for performance and uptime.
• Respond to system alerts and incidents, troubleshooting issues per procedures.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate teams and document logs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for incident resolution, maintenance, and changes.
• Generate operational reports and maintain knowledge of network infrastructure.

Your Role:

As a NOC Support Associate, you will:

• Monitor network devices, servers, and applications to ensure optimal performance, availability, and minimal downtime.
• Respond to system alerts and incidents by troubleshooting network, server, and application issues following established procedures.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to the appropriate support teams while maintaining accurate incident documentation and logs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support incident resolution, scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and network changes.
• Generate operational reports, monitor network health, and maintain knowledge of network infrastructure, topology, and operational procedures.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Network Operations, IT Support, or a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting network, server, and application issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience using network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, routers, switches, and enterprise networking infrastructure.
• Familiarity with IT incident management and operational support processes.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup, mid-shift schedule, and participate in on-call support when required.
• Relevant networking certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are an advantage.
