Job summary

Merck Group is seeking a Product Costing Accountant in Taguig to manage daily costing for new materials and support variances, audits, and process improvements. The role requires a strong background in financial accounting and SAP CO.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, handle cost simulations, and contribute to costing documentation while working a night shift in a dynamic shared services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 4+ years in financial accounting, product costing and management accounting.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and material master data.
• Experience with SAP CO Product Costing.
• Shared Services Center experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.
• Willing to be based in BGC, Taguig at least 2x per week.
• Able to work night shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily product costing for new materials and ensure compliance with SLA/KPIs.
• Support investigation and analysis of standard cost variance as requested by local counterparts.
• Communicate costing errors to relevant parties.
• Run and document costing simulations.
• Perform and document annual costing activities and ensure timely marking and releasing of materials.
• Create and update work instructions and documentations.
• Engage in internal and external audits and regression testing.
• Practice continuous improvement to costing processes.
• Establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
