Job summary

The role supports pre-service estimate processes, communicates network status and patient liability, and coordinates with scheduling, clinical, and operations teams. Onsite in Bridgetowne, Quezon City with night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in Patient Access and Insurance Verification/Authorization.
• Knowledge of EMR systems such as Athenahealth or Epic.
• Understanding of pre-certification requirements, plan benefits, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with payer types (PPO, POS, HMO).
• Ability to discuss financial arrangements with patients while maintaining positive relations.
• Willing to work onsite in Bridgetowne, Quezon City with a night shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient estimate activities according to standards
• Verify eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to service
• Determine patient financial responsibility
• Communicate network status and estimate information to patients
• Educate patients regarding benefits and out-of-pocket costs
• Facilitate patient payments and provide financial assistance information
• Coordinate with scheduling, clinical, and operational teams
• Document interactions accurately within the EMR
• Maintain knowledge of payer requirements and patient access workflows
