Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform electroencephalograms (EEGs) and related neurodiagnostic tests
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes
- Operate and maintain neurophysiology equipment
- Monitor and record patient responses during procedures
- Analyze and interpret test data for physician review
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout testing
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or any medical allied course.
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Knowledgeable of neurophysiology and neurodiagnostic procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with neurodiagnostic equipment and software
- Commitment to patient care and safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if needed
