Job summary

First Technology (S) Pte Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Network System Engineer to support CISCO, Fortinet, and security software, with daily travel to client sites across Singapore. The role covers on-site IT support, VPN setup, and server infrastructure.

You will configure CISCO switches, access points, and WAN/LAN designs, install Windows Server OS, Microsoft 365, VMware, Exchange, and SQL, and handle hardware like servers, UPS, and storage devices.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Computer Studies.
• Minimum of 3 years of systems support with System Integration (SI) experience preferred.
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or other professional certificates would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Able to configure/ support CISCO, Fortinet, Firewall & Antivirus, and other security software.
• Experience with CISCO core switches, Access Points (Wireless) such as Aironet / Meraki / HP Aruba is a plus.
• Familiarize with CISCO Network LAN & WAN design.
• Pre-sales to Point to Point and Client VPN.
• Setup and perform troubleshooting with network technical skills, including CISCO Routers, CISCO Switches, wireless devices, Fortinet Firewalls, and system management tools like Network Analysis.
• Install WINDOWS Server O/S, WIN 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform for Servers, and PCs with hands-on experience in setup and configuration.
• Knowledge of setup/configure VMWare, Exchange Server, SQL, and Virtual Server, along with hardware configuration experience.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Able to configure/ support CISCO, Fortinet, Firewall & Antivirus, and other security software.

Experience with CISCO core switches, Access Points (Wireless) such as Aironet / Meraki / HP Aruba is a plus.

Familiarize with CISCO Network LAN & WAN design.

Pre-sales to Point to Point and Client VPN.

Setup and perform troubleshooting with network technical skills, including CISCO Routers, CISCO Switches, wireless devices, Fortinet Firewalls, and system management tools like Network Analysis.

Install WINDOWS Server O/S, WIN 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform for Servers, and PCs with hands-on experience in setup and configuration.

Knowledge of setup/configure VMWare, Exchange Server, SQL, and Virtual Server, along with hardware configuration experience (Server, external backup, UPS) in FAS System, HPE Storage, Synology NAL, etc.

Requirements:

Unified Communication experience is desirable but not necessary.

Provide on-site IT support at various client locations across Singapore. Daily travel is required.

Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or other professional certificates would be advantageous.
