Job summary

Masergy Philippines Inc. is seeking a Network Solutions Engineer/Technical Design Support Engineer to review customer designs for accuracy and viability and ensure Masergy services meet or exceed expectations.

You will coordinate with multiple departments to enable complex sales and infrastructure implementations. You will support pre-activation technical tasks, design and validate WAN-LAN integrations, and collaborate with Product Management to develop new offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years’ experience in LAN/WAN implementation or support (routers, switches, firewalls, NIDs).
• Hands-on experience with Alcatel (Nokia) ESR, Cisco routers & switches, Fortinet firewalls, Overture and Adva NIDs, SDN-NFV, Silver Peak SD WAN, Riverbed WAN Optimization and CERTES WAN Encryption.
• Working knowledge of NAT, VRRP/HSRP, Session-based firewalls, QOS, Layer 2 VPLS, MPLS network principles.

Responsibilities

• Review customer solutions for accuracy and viability to meet/exceed expectations.
• Support WAN-LAN integration, architectural design and validation.
• Identify function design and product selection.
• Participate in client implementation planning for Masergy services turn-up.
• Collaborate with Product Management on new offerings.
