Job summary

AVENSYS CONSULTING INC. in the Philippines is seeking a Network Security Architect to review design requirements, test security platforms in lab environments and manage security documentation and compliance.

You will collaborate with Disney Architecture teams and Capgemini Forward Networks programmers to ensure production equipment meets standards and operational needs. Strong scripting skills are required, with experience in Python or PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with network/security designs and technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or similar scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Review DRD (Design Requirements Documents) relating to new and on-going projects.
• Bug review and lab test new code for various security platforms (Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE Aruba ClearPass)
• Lab testing for new network/security designs and technologies (Firewall, IPS, F5 APM, VPN technologies, etc.)
• Lab testing for new software/firmware code levels and designs
• Work with Disney Architecture teams to review various configuration standards
• Work with the Capgemini Forward Networks programmers to develop compliance tests to ensure the production equipment adheres to those standards
• Confirm every project request complies to current operational requirements, MSBs, standards, and design guides
• Review MSB, configuration standards and tech bulletins for various security platforms from Disney
• Manage all Security related documentation
• Support project teams for all technical, design and configuration related issues

About the role
