Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd. in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure with emphasis on F5 LTM, DDI, and Cisco ACI.

The role requires delivering reliable, scalable networks and close collaboration with IT teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in network engineering, hands-on F5, DDI, and ACI experience, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering experience; 3+ years with the listed technologies.
• Hands-on with F5 Load Balancers (LTM, SSL offloading, health monitoring).
• Experience with DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM).
• Experience supporting Cisco ACI.
• Strong TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs knowledge.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and collaborative skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based environments is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on F5 Load Balancers, DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management), and Cisco ACI environments.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of production systems.

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for network operations and provide technical guidance to team members.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and operational initiatives.

• Analyze and resolve complex network, load balancing, and connectivity issues across multiple environments.

• Configure, optimize, and maintain F5 Load Balancers, including virtual servers, pools, health monitors, SSL offloading, and traffic management policies.

• Administer and support DDI solutions, ensuring reliable DNS, DHCP, and IP address management services.

• Manage and support Cisco ACI fabric, including policy configuration, tenant management, application profiles, endpoint groups (EPGs), and network segmentation.

• Perform root cause analysis for network outages and implement preventive measures to improve system stability.

• Ensure compliance with network security standards, operational procedures, and change management processes.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• STRICTLY Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• STRICTLY 5+ years of relevant Network Engineering experience; candidates with 3+ years of solid hands-on experience in the required technologies may also be considered.

• Strong hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers (LTM, traffic management, SSL offloading, health monitoring, and load balancing concepts).

• Hands-on experience with DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management).

• Experience supporting and administering Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and network protocols.

• Experience troubleshooting complex network and infrastructure issues in enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with network monitoring, performance analysis, and diagnostic tools.

• Understanding of network security principles, firewalls, access control, and high-availability architectures.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

• Experience working in an ITIL-based or enterprise operations environment is an advantage.

Shift Schedule: Possibly Night Shift (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Work Setup: Hybrid

Return-to-Office Requirement: 2x per week onsite. Mandatory every Tuesday at CG2 (or as agreed by leadership) and one additional day at the nearest office location.
