Excis is hiring a Network Engineer (Level 3) in the Philippines. You will monitor performance, maintain high availability, install and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless gear, and coordinate with engineers during major incidents.

The ideal candidate has a BS in CS/IT or equivalent, 5–8 years in network engineering, hands-on Cisco ACI/Nexus experience, Azure networking, ExpressRoute, and familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and Git.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in CS/IT/Networking.
• 5–8 years of experience in network engineering, network operations, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, especially Cisco ACI and Nexus switches.
• Experience with Azure networking, ExpressRoute, VPN, and hybrid connectivity.
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, secure file transfer, and data center network operations.
• CCNP certification is preferred; other relevant Cisco/Juniper/Azure certifications are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor network performance, maintain high availability, and ensure reliability and security of network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs.
• Manage LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity; coordinate with OEM vendors during major incidents.
• Provide advanced technical support for complex network incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Support Cisco ACI, Nexus switches, data center fabrics, and related vaults and VRFs; participate in on-call activities.
• Operate and maintain network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Git) and document changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance, maintain high availability, and ensure the reliability and security of network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
• Provide advanced technical support for complex network incidents, including root cause analysis and resolution.
• Support day-to-day operations of Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus 9K/3K switches, data center fabrics, tenants, and VRFs.
• Provide operational support for Azure networking, ExpressRoute, and VPN connectivity.
• Administer and support A10 load balancers, Cisco ISE, remote access policies, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Monitor and maintain core network services, including DNS, DHCP, and secure file transfer.
• Maintain network configurations, technical documentation, and change records.
• Operate and maintain existing network automation tools and assets, including Terraform, Ansible, and Git.
• Act as the escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 engineers and coordinate with OEM vendors and Ampito teams during major incidents.
• Implement approved network changes in accordance with customer governance and change management procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve network performance and security.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to continuous service improvement.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support activities when required.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in network engineering, network operations, or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies, particularly Cisco ACI and Nexus switches, is preferred.
• Experience with Azure networking, ExpressRoute, VPN, and hybrid connectivity.
• Knowledge of A10 load balancers, Cisco ISE, network access control, and certificate management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, secure file transfer, and data center network operations.
• Experience maintaining existing automation tools and repositories using Terraform, Ansible, and Git.
• Strong understanding of network security, performance monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to provide occasional onsite support at data centers and participate in after-hours support when required.
• Cisco CCNP certification is preferred but not mandatory. CompTIA Network+, Juniper certifications, and relevant Cisco data center, ISE, Azure networking, or automation certifications are also advantageous.
