Job summary

RCBC is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, maintain and enhance application systems and their documentation. You will gather user requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure AML compliance as required. Responsibilities include designing modules, developing programs, preparing test data, conducting tests, and providing user support.

A bachelor's in IT/CS and 4+ years in .NET/C# are required. Experience with Agile and cloud-based platforms is preferred.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in .NET or C#.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is required.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of application systems and their related system documentation manuals.
• Gathers information on user requirements used for systems analysis and design.
• Designs application modules/systems translating business requirements into technical specs.
• Develops file structures, interfaces, programs and reports; handles backup, recovery and archiving procedures.
• Codes and compiles new and revised programs following SDLC standards and security/audit requirements.
• Prepares test data and performs tests to ensure error-free coding.
• Prepares test/conversion/implementation plans for supervisor approval.
• Develops and maintains system documentation/manuals for applications.
• Provides support and technical assistance to users of the application.
• Conducts initial training for trainers/users of the application system.
• Recommends improvements to existing procedures to maximize effectiveness.

Job Summary

How will you contribute?

• Gathers information on user requirements which will be used for systems analysis and design
• Designs application modules/system based on user requirements and specifications by translating business requirements into technical specifications incorporating AML processes as stipulated in the MLPP compliance laws and regulations
• Develops file structures, interfaces, programs and reports specifications, file backup, recovery and archiving procedures
• Codes and compiles new and revised programs following the set standards and procedures specified by the systems development life cycle methodology, information security and audit
• Prepares test data and performs various tests to ensure error-free coding.
• Prepares test, conversion and implementation plans for approval of the immediate supervisor
• Develops and maintains systems documentation / manuals of the application systems
• Supervises file conversion
• Provides support and technical assistance to users of the application
• Conducts initial training to trainors / users of application system
• Recommends improvements to existing procedures in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency when using the application system
