Job description

The Junior .NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining web and software applications. You will translate business and system requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions, build and enhance both front-end and back-end components, and ensure software quality through comprehensive testing and troubleshooting. Working across the full SDLC and collaborating with project managers, business analysts, QA, developers, and stakeholders, you will help deliver reliable software that complies with organizational policies, security standards, and governance requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain web and software applications using approved tools, technologies, frameworks, and coding standards.

2. Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.

3. Develop, design, enhance, and maintain front-end and back-end components of new and existing systems.

4. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, performance issues, and technical problems to ensure system reliability and stability.

5. Perform program coding activities in accordance with established development methodologies, application standards, secure coding practices, and security requirements.

6. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

7. Prepare and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical specifications, code documentation, test plans, implementation plans, deployment notes, and process flows.

8. Conduct and support unit, integration, system, cross-browser, cross-device, and user acceptance testing activities to ensure software quality and compliance with requirements.

9. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, quality assurance teams, developers, business users, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.

10. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, applicable governance frameworks, and secure coding requirements.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or any related computer program.

2. 6 months to 1 year experience in the same field.

3. Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#/.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other relevant development technologies.

4. Good understanding of software development methodologies, design principles, SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, and development best practices.

5. Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based and enterprise applications.

6. Knowledge of database design, development, optimization, and troubleshooting.

7. Working knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device testing.

8. Strong documentation skills, including preparation and maintenance of functional specifications, technical specifications, code documentation, test plans, implementation documents, and process flows.

9. Familiarity with secure coding practices, application security standards, vulnerability prevention, and compliance requirements.

10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.

11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business users, QA, developers, and project managers.
