Job summary

Alstom in Mumbai is seeking a full-time Project Manager to drive project execution across engineering, operations, and procurement while ensuring QCDP delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage risks, uphold EHS and railway safety standards, and report progress to stakeholders. A Master’s in Project Management and 7–10+ years in relevant roles are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a qualification in Project Management.
• 10 years of experience as a sub-system/component manager, qualified project manager, or manager of an operational scope.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant domain.
• Experience working in multinational companies and across diverse business cultures.
• Knowledge of project management processes and railway products/systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Ability to manage customer relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Exposure to railway signalling (preferred).
• Familiarity with Alstom’s processes and ways of working (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Drive project QCDP performance and ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
• Define project strategy in line with contract requirements and PMP elaboration.
• Lead and coordinate activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out.
• Manage resources and align key stakeholders towards shared goals.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, opportunities, and savings.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and railway safety standards.
• Manage customer relationships and provide transparent reporting of progress and KPIs.
