Job summary

Inquirer Interactive, Inc. in Cebu City is seeking a Multimedia Content Producer (Property) to develop and pitch original stories, write features for print, digital and social, and cover press conferences, launches, and industry events.

You will research sources, coordinate with editors, photographers and designers, and produce multimedia content including explainers, reels and scripts, while applying editorial standards and using performance insights to improve distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pitch original stories for Inquirer Interactive, Inc.
• Write articles/short features for print, digital, and socmed, adjusting treatment, length, structure and presentation when appropriate for each platform.
• Cover press conferences, launches, forums, industry events and other assignments.
• Research and conduct interviews with executives, industry leaders, experts, government officials, stakeholders and other relevant sources; over time, develop and maintain a strong network of credible industry sources.
• Ensure accuracy, balance, context, clarity and compliance with editorial standards.
• Develop strong angles, deepen reporting through additional sources and data, and identify follow-up opportunities.
• In coordination with editors, conceptualize and produce multimedia content, including features for print, explainers, reels, social features and other digital assets; write supporting copy, including headlines, captions, teasers and scripts.
• When needed, help editors develop scripts, interview guides, treatments and production plans.
• When needed, help coordinate with photographers, videographers, designers and editors to deliver accurate, cohesive and platform-ready content.
• Use audience and content-performance insights to improve future storytelling and distribution.
• When needed, help in the editorial and multimedia coverage of forums, roundtables, property fairs, awards, launches and other special projects.
• Develop coverage plans, identify priority interviews and recommend appropriate editorial and multimedia outputs.
• Develop pre-event, live and post-event content for print and digital platforms.
• Coordinate production schedules and deliverables.
• Work closely with the Property editors to ensure content serves the requirements of Inquirer Interactive.
• Contribute ideas to editorial calendars, special reports, recurring series and multimedia initiatives.
• Help coordinate with reporters, photographers, videographers, designers and other contributors.
• IF APPLICABLE: Help provide guidance to the Multimedia Content Associate on assigned stories and productions.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
