Job summary

World Vision Bangladesh is seeking a Communications Officer to strengthen visibility and impact in Rohingya Crisis Response through strategic storytelling, multimedia content, and high-quality branding. The role drives content across digital, print, and external channels, liaises with field teams, and supports emergency communications while ensuring branding standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mass Communications/Journalism or equivalent
• Minimum two years of practical experience in communications/media
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud for infographics and reports
• Proficiency with DSLR photography and video editing
• Fluent in English and Bengali; Rohingya language knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural environments

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute field visits to capture photos, videos, and stories
• Develop engaging content for digital channels and internal communications
• Manage content archives and ensure efficient resource utilisation
• Design print materials and visual content in line with branding
• Collaborate with vendors for production of materials within budgets
• Support media engagement and press events
• Maintain media contact databases and prepare coverage reports
• Provide training in storytelling, photography, and videography
• Document emergency responses with field-ready visuals
• Ensure World Vision branding and style compliance
