Job summary

MicroSourcing, located at Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines, is seeking a Motor Policy Administration Specialist for an onsite, day-shift role. You will obtain quotations from underwriters, input data into quoting systems, and assist with renewals, amendments, and cancellations under Account Manager guidance.

The ideal candidate has strong English skills, basic insurance knowledge, and familiarity with business correspondence.

Qualifications

• Excellent English reading and writing are essential.
• Familiarity with insurance concepts speeds onboarding.
• Home and Landlord experience is preferred.
• Experience in business correspondence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotations from a panel of underwriters via online quoting system or email form.
• Identify and transfer required information into the quoting system or form.
• Update quotations in WinBEAT and manage renewals and renewals transfers.
• Bind policies and send correct emails to the Account Manager.
• Save all communications in the Document Management System (DMS) and update renewal spreadsheets.
• Handle terminations and renewals amendments as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Obtain quotations from a panel of insurance underwriters, either by use of an online quoting system or by the completion of a form which is sent by email.
• The employee will need to find the information requested by the online system or form in the package of information we provide, and accurately transfer that information into the quoting system or form.
• Upon the Account Manager's instructions, the employee will be requested to complete:
  • Update new Quotations in WinBEAT
  • Premium Funding Rollover
  • Renewal
  • transfer renewal
  • bind a policy
  • complete the correct email to the Account Manager
  • Save all communications in the Document Management System (DMS).
  • Update the renewal spreadsheet for the Account Manager
  • Full term/end term cancellations
  • renewal policy amendments as required

Qualifications

• Describe the qualifications the staff must have in terms of skills and capabilities
• Excellent reading and writing in English, and good numeracy are the only essential skills.
• Familiarity with the concepts of insurance business may assist an employee to get up to speed more quickly; but the right person will pick it up very quickly.
• With Home and Landlord experience
• Some experience in business correspondence would be advantageous. Our employees represent us to our underwriters (insurance providers) and must be able to compose an email that displays our business in a professional manner.
