Job summary

Kylin Human Resources and Manning Corp. is seeking a vigilant Operations Monitor for spot and derivatives trading to oversee duty shifts and promptly flag anomalies in market data, price feeds, and liquidity.

You will work with cross-functional teams to diagnose alerts, determine root causes, and ensure timely resolutions. The role requires sensitivity to price movements, strong risk awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly about incident handling and residual risks in a high-frequency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in finance, mathematics, computer science, data analysis, or related fields preferred.
• Sensitive to numbers and price movements, with strong risk awareness and the ability to judge anomalies.
• Detail-oriented, able to strictly follow operating procedures, and to verify configurations before and after making changes.
• Strong sense of responsibility and time-sensitivity, able to maintain accurate judgment in a high-frequency alert environment.
• Clear written communication and handover skills, able to accurately explain what happened, how it was handled, and what risks remain.
• Familiar with common office tools; proficient in Excel or spreadsheet tools for basic data organization and analysis.
• Willing to accept shift work, night shifts, and holiday scheduling.
• Proficient in English reading and writing.
• Data analysis skills such as SQL (preferred).
• Familiarity with concepts such as spot trading, derivatives/contracts, funding rates, order book depth, liquidity, and price deviation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor spot and derivatives trading operations and promptly identify and follow up on anomalies such as market data or price feed interruptions, deviations between internal and external prices, abnormal funding rates, anomalies in trading pairs and trading precision, liquidity and balance anomalies, and anomalies in the monitoring system itself.
• Quickly determine the root cause of alerts, distinguish genuine anomalies from false positives, and respond and resolve issues promptly according to priority.
• Follow up on abnormal market volatility, market data source interruptions, low liquidity, and other market conditions.
• Coordinate with the parameters, technical, and risk control teams to resolve issues.
• Escalate significant market events or risks in a timely manner, ensuring every issue has a response, an owner, and a resolution.

About the role
