Job summary

The role requires coordinating mold setup and changeovers, ensuring 5S standards are followed, and supervising start-ups with timely adjustments.

You will troubleshoot process issues, optimize molding parameters, inspect parts, and ensure safety and compliance in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products, and organizes and monitors workflow.
• Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Assure that mold set up, change mold, and 5S standards are met.
• Ensure start-ups run correctly, making any necessary adjustments
• Work with production personnel to ensure molded parts meet requirements, make adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot processing problems including normal adjustments and checks.
• Ensure molding machines and supporting systems are set to correct parameters and meeting the production goals.
• Verify process parameters and implement changes, as appropriate, to improve cycle times.
• Inspecting parts to ensure they meet the customer specifications.
• Review and inspect machines daily for maintenance issues and report to the maintenance department.
• Comply with all safety, quality and work rules and regulations.
• Knowledgeable in 5M+1E change.
