Job summary

Texas Instruments in Pampanga is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support mold equipment in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will ensure quality, uptime, and reliability in machine operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include maintenance planning, studying equipment performance, implementing upgrades, and providing technical support to repair and process engineering groups. A strong background in mold-related processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Electrical, Electrical Computer, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, Physics) or related.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer.

• Ensuring quality and integrity in executing work on the Mold equipment engineering process.
• Overseeing installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Staying current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Studying equipment performance and reliability.
• Developing programs and solutions to increase uptime and address equipment-related issues in manufacturing.
• Providing technical support to repair and process engineering groups.
• Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities Include

• Ensuring quality and integrity in executing work on the Mold equipment engineering process
• Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues
• Studying equipment performance and reliability
• Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
• Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
• Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Education (Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering,) Physics or related engineering degree
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 to 5 yrs working experience with Mold
• Advance setup, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Capable to create work instructions, procedures and critical machine specs
• Machine calibration knowledge
• Use of handy panel and other calibration jigs
• Basic equipment and process parameters understanding
• Material to Machine integration know how's
• Advance chase tooling, balancing and setup
• Advance DOE and Problem Solving Skills
• Advance knowledge on Excel/Powerpoint/SQL/Spotfire or similar data collection and visualization skills
• Mold Flow simulation background

Nice To Have

• Intermediate knowledge on below machines
• Nordson/Panasonic Plasma
• Bake Oven
• CSAM/Xray
• EO/Josung Laser and Accretech/Disco Saw Singulation experience
