Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician in the Philippines to perform technical tasks supporting engineering and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and chemical systems, including semiconductor manufacturing tools. You will respond to critical situations, troubleshoot components, read blueprints, and help implement SOPs.

The role requires an Associate degree and proficiency with SAP, AutoCAD, and MS Office, with after-hours call coverage.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or technical degree with Electrical specialization.
Ability to read, understand, and update blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Computer/software skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, and AutoCAD.

Respond quickly to potentially critical situations, perform rapid and accurate situational assessments, and troubleshoot system components.
Identify causes of failures, determine appropriate corrective actions, and implement these corrections promptly to mitigate the effects of system upsets.
Review recommended maintenance procedures to ensure best practices are in place and documented properly.
Review, draft, improve and implement standard operation procedures (SOP) on all related systems.
Provide technical support for 24-hour operations team.

Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will perform technical tasks in support of engineering and maintenance activities involving the construction, design, specification, startup and operation of the facility's mechanical, chemical and electrical systems or the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.

Responsibilities include:

Respond quickly to potentially critical situations, perform rapid and accurate situational assessments, and troubleshoot system components
Identify causes of failures, determine appropriate corrective actions, and implement these corrections promptly to mitigate the effects of system upsets
Review recommended maintenance procedures to ensure best practices are in place and documented properly
Review, draft, improve and implement standard operation procedures (SOP) on all related systems
Provide technical support for 24-hour operations team

Qualifications

Associate's degree in any technical course or a Degree in Industrial Technology with specialization in Electrical Technology
Ability to read, understand, and update blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Computer/software skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, and AutoCAD
Knowledge on the use of diagnostic tools like multimeters, clamp meters, and ohmmeters
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and test electrical circuits and panels
Willingness to handle call-in situations after hours

Preferred qualifications:

Self-starter requiring little direction to identify and solve problems
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Ability to interface professionally and effectively with all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
