LYNX INDUSTRIAL TRADING CORP is seeking a Technical Designer (Modular Cabinet) in Metro Manila. The role focuses on creating detailed CAD drawings and designs, adapting to project changes, and collaborating with designers, technicians, and field teams.

The candidate will perform site verifications, gather information, and ensure design quality while developing documentation standards and supporting cross-functional stakeholders. Occasional fieldwork is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Knowledge in designing of modular cabinet.
• Experience with SketchUp, Vray, AutoCAD.

About the role

Technical Designer (Modular Cabinet) is responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs using CAD software, adapting to project changes, and collaborating with team members. They conduct site verifications, gather information, and ensure design quality. They also assist in interpreting specifications, reviewing shop drawings, and developing design documentation standards. Occasionally, they may perform field work.

Key responsibilities

• Crafting and adhering to timelines for intricate drawings, designs, plans, and models utilizing advanced CAD software, while acting as the principal authority for all computer-aided design needs
• Adapting seamlessly to evolving project demands within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Managing and operating plotters and printers with precision
• Collaborating effectively with designers, technicians, and cross-functional team members to integrate innovative concepts into comprehensive drawing packages
• Communicating detailed drawings to construction teams, engineers, and installers, and making necessary adjustments based on feedback
• Engaging in occasional fieldwork, including site verifications, measurements, and information gathering, while coordinating with construction stakeholders
• Coordinating efforts with external project designers and consultants to ensure cohesive project execution
• Upholding design quality and meeting client expectations consistently
• Assisting Account Managers and operations teams in interpreting drawings and coordinating design efforts

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• Knowledge in designing of modular cabinet
• Background in using Sketch up, Vray, AutoCAD
• 3-5 years of experience in the same field
• Willing to be assigned in Del Monte Ave. Quezon City
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday
