Verkada invites a Mobile Software Engineering intern to help build native iOS/Android experiences across our security platform. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship new features and improve existing apps.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Computer Science with a 2026 graduate date, proficient in Swift or Kotlin (and willing to learn the other), and comfortable writing multi-threaded code and using backend APIs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Computer Science with graduation planned for 2026.
• Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin and willingness to learn the other.
• Experience with multi-threaded, asynchronous code and backend APIs.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire mobile app lifecycle from concept to release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features.
• Develop in Swift or Kotlin alongside backend work.
• Work in iterative sprints to design, develop, and test solutions.
• Build automation and tests to streamline development.
