Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation in Didipio, Philippines, seeks an experienced Electrician-Mobile to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on production equipment.

The role requires seven+ years in mining or heavy industry, relevant TESDA/industrial electricity credentials, and a valid driver’s license. Offshore and onsite conditions apply with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Automotive Electrician graduate or TESDA NC-II certified.
• Vocational Trade School graduate/Certificate in Industrial Electricity and Automotive or equivalent work experience.
• At least seven (7) years experience as Electrician-Mobile in mining, cement, power, or other heavy industries.
• Experience servicing Toyota Hilux/Fortuner, HOWO dump trucks, Terex crane, Volvo loader, Caterpillar equipment, and Atlas Copco generator set an advantage.
• Familiar with tools for the right job and proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing.
• Motor rewinding and autorewinding.
• With a valid Professional Driver's license.
• Computer literate with PRONTO and INX experience an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting on surface equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.
• Install electrical accessories on light and heavy equipment and estimate electrical materials.
• Test equipment and map electrical pathways to locate problems.
• Document maintenance through work orders and PRONTO.
• Suggest improvements to prevent future failures and enhance safety.
• Keep tools clean, organized, and accounted for.
