• Knowledge of open-pit mining methods, production planning, pit development, drilling/blasting, haulage, mine safety, and efficiency improvement.
• Familiarity with MGB regulations, environmental compliance, and occupational safety standards.

Job Summary

The Mine Operations Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all open-pit mining operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. The role leads mine production activities, operational planning, contractor management, equipment utilization, workforce supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production targets and operational objectives. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with mining regulations, environmental standards, and occupational safety requirements while maintaining high standards of operational performance. The Mine Operations Superintendent provides strategic leadership, technical direction, and operational oversight to drive productivity, safety, and sustainable mining practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering and must be a Licensed Mining Engineer.

At least 10 years of progressive experience in open-pit mining operations, including production, operations management, and leadership roles.

Strong expertise in mine production management, mine planning, operational supervision, contractor management, equipment utilization, and workforce leadership.

In-depth knowledge of open-pit mining methods, production planning, pit development, drilling and blasting, haulage operations, mine safety, and operational efficiency improvement.

Familiarity with MGB regulations, environmental compliance requirements, occupational safety and health standards, and mining industry best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive safe, efficient operations.

Willing to work in Labo, Camarines Norte, Bicol, Philippines
