Job summary

Capgemini Philippines Corp. is seeking an experienced ABAP Developer to handle ABAP developments across SAP modules based on functional designs.

You will perform ABAP programming, testing and debugging, and collaborate with functional consultants and technical leads to deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires 3-5 years of related experience, deep ABAP expertise (RICEF, BAPI, RFC, IDocs), S/4 HANA familiarity, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/College Degree required.
3-5 years of related experience.
Advanced ABAP programming (reporting, interface, conversion, enhancement & forms – RICEF), BAPI, RFC, IDocs.
Experience in S/4 HANA programming (Simplification, HANAtization).
Technical design and programming in SD, MM & FICO modules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
SAP certification is a plus; basic SD/MM knowledge.
Good presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Handle low to medium and occasionally complex ABAP developments based on functional designs.
Perform ABAP programming, testing and debugging for SAP implementations.
Collaborate with functional consultants and tech leads to develop ABAP code and troubleshoot issues.
Follow best coding practices for quality deliverables.
Fix defects and address performance issues during testing and go-live support.
Document testing for future reference and maintain team relations.
Provide status reports and raise issues/risks promptly.
Compute ABAP estimations for technical requirements.
