Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field as listed.
• Preferably registered or certified in microbiology or related certifications.
• Must possess a valid PAM certification or competency in microbiology.
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience in testing or related operations.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, testing procedures, and analytical instruments.
• Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret laboratory test results accurately.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing, analysis, and evaluation of samples according to approved methods and quality standards.
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and materials required for testing.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment for reliable results.
• Record, analyze, validate, and interpret test data and findings.
• Prepare and submit accurate laboratory reports and certificates of analysis within timelines.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, ISO standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor quality control and participate in proficiency testing and method validation.
• Investigate non-conforming results, deviations, and incidents.
• Maintain documentation, records, and sample traceability per regulatory and company requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, technical staff, and other departments on testing needs and concerns.
• Assist in developing, improving, and implementing laboratory procedures and methods.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the laboratory area.
• Support audits, inspections, accreditation activities, and continuous improvement programs.
• Perform other laboratory and technical duties as assigned by the Laboratory Head.
