Job summary

SIGMA COLD STORAGE, INC. is seeking a Warehouse Operator to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in its Navotas facility. You will load, unload, transfer, and stack products in cold storage areas while ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires vigilance in equipment checks, adherence to dispatch instructions, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extended hours if needed. Prior experience in cold storage is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational training is an advantage.
• TESDA NC II Certification for Heavy Equipment or Forklift Operation.
• Experience in warehouse/logistics or cold storage is an advantage.
• Proven ability to operate MHE safely and efficiently.
• Familiar with warehouse operations, safety practices, and inventory handling.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, transfer, and stack products within the warehouse and cold storage areas.

• Ensure proper handling of products to avoid damage during movement and storage.

• Check equipment condition before and after operation and report any defects immediately.

• Follow assigned picking, put-away, and dispatch instructions accurately.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles and storage locations.

• Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding movement and placement of stocks.

• Comply with company safety policies and cold storage operational procedures at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent required; related vocational training is an advantage.

• Must possess TESDA NC II Certification for Heavy Equipment or Forklift Operation.

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or cold storage operations is an advantage.

• Proven ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
