Job summary

Moog in Baguio City, Philippines, seeks a Met Lab Inspector I to perform metallurgical analyses, prepare samples, and support failure investigations. The role emphasizes careful data collection, interpretation, and documentation while operating lab equipment.

Onsite work is required, with collaboration across M&PE and engineering teams. Education in metallurgy or related field is required, with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited chemical, material and process skill sets per lab procedures and print requirements.
• Prepare etching solutions, sample prep, metallographic analysis and mechanical testing for heat-treated parts; interpret data and maintain records.
• Operate and maintain laboratory and analytical equipment and supplies to ensure reliable results.
• Provide test data support to M&PE and engineering for failure investigations and troubleshooting.
• Participate in M&PE team organization and training.
