Job summary

Sunnies Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Merchandising Asst. Manager to oversee sales analytics, assortment, planograms and pricing for the assigned category. You will compile and report on sales data, review historical trends and develop strategies to meet sales and inventory targets.

The role focuses on assortment rationalization, store-level optimization and price strategy to support brand and revenue goals. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in merchandising are required.

Responsibilities

• Sales Analysis and Reporting: Compile, analyze and report sales, competitor, customer and market data.
• Assortment Management: Identify gaps, rationalize assortment, streamline per store profiles.
• Planogram Management: Review impact of planograms on sales and inventory; develop strategic planograms; implement pricing strategies.

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Sales Analysis and Reporting

• Compile, analyze and report sales, competitor, customer and market data.
• Review, analyze and utilize historical data.
• Develop strategies to achieve the company’s sales and inventory goals.

Assortment Management

• Identify gaps in the assortment and provide directions for product development.
• Rationalize the assortment of the assigned category.
• Streamline the assortment per store to suit each store’s profile.
• Manage and monitor internal and external product database documentation.

Planogram Management

• Review and analyze the impact of planograms on sales and inventory.
• Develop strategic planograms aligned with sales, inventory, brand and customer goals.
• Review and analyze product position, competitor pricing and market expectations.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to achieve the company’s sales and margin goals.
• Develop strategic promotion strategies aligned with the company’s sales, inventory and margin goals.

YOUR TALENT (QUALIFICATIONS)
