The role involves planning merchandise moves, overseeing display cleanliness, conducting supervisor meetings, and scheduling staff. It requires leadership to maintain efficiency, train staff, and ensure smooth warehouse operations, including FIFO control and equipment checks.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs merchandise moves / placement.
• Ensures proper display and cleanliness of area in accordance to set standards and procedures.
• Conducts splinter meetings with supervisors and staff and ensures regular floor walk with them.
• Prepares weekly work schedules of supervisors and staff.
• Provides training to all staff in the department.
• Motivates staff to peak efficiency and productivity and maintains a harmonious working atmosphere.
• Analyses work methods and distribution to eliminate idle time and maximize employee's productivity and capacity.
• Monitors FIFO System for coded merchandise.
• Directs and oversees the entire warehouse operations during the assigned shift schedule.
