Overview
Awesome CX by Transcom is looking for talented individuals to join our team. This role is for a Merchandising Assistant at our Awesome CX by Transcom Davaosite. This role will focus on managing stock planning and working with trading, supply chain, and finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain merchandise reporting to monitor sales, stock holding and commitments.
- Maintain weekly, monthly and seasonal reports on sales performance and stock health.
- Support the senior team in identifying and sharing higher level demand trends and stock risks and opportunities.
- Pull commercial insights to share with the wider business.
- Stock planning: monitor and report on deliveries and stock levels.
- Liaise with suppliers on samples, shipment updates, and general queries.
- Work with the senior team to maintain sales & stock line sheets across all sales channels.
- Support the team to budget for and deliver recommended stock buying based on Open-to-Buy (OTB).
- Assist with purchase order management by raising POs and tracking approvals.
- Stock management: work closely with sourcing and operations teams to ensure continuity of inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Manage stockholding on a day-to-day basis, including the delivery schedule.
- Develop a working knowledge of the ERP system and ensure all stock information is accurate and admin is maintained.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in merchandising in retail or consumer goods.
- Understand the key concepts involved in merchandising.
- Be comfortable with building and analyzing sales & stock reports.
- Strong numerical ability and exceptionally high attention to detail.
- Default to data for decision making and be comfortable analyzing large data sets.
- Love identifying and solving hard problems.
- Proficient in advanced Excel; Netsuite & Looker experience a bonus.
- Be adept at building relationships and influencing people.
- Be confident working cross-functionally.
- Be a master at bringing data to life and communicating clearly both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Be excited to work in a function that’s continually evolving.
- Good multitasking ability and a can-do attitude.
