Job summary

Bauer International Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and project documents for mechanical works in Metro Manila.

You will analyze material/labor costs, review designs, and maintain budgets through site verification and tender preparation. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (Professional License), at least 3 years in cost estimation and quantity surveying, and be proficient in Excel and estimation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Professional License, required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, cost control, and mechanical works evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, construction methods, and cost estimating.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost estimating software.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and project documentation
• Estimate material, labor, and overall project costs
• Maintain and update historical cost data
• Review design changes and revise project budgets
• Interpret project specifications and client requirements
• Conduct site visits to verify project information and estimate accuracy
• Prepare bid and tender documents, including cost estimates and schedules
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company requirements
• Prepare BOQ and VO costs for projects
• Coordinate with project teams throughout the estimating and tendering process
