Job summary

Arcondis Group is seeking a specialized Low-Code Application Support Specialist with Mendix expertise to troubleshoot and maintain the health of existing business-critical applications.

You will join a globally distributed team, providing around-the-clock coverage across multiple time zones and participating in rotating on-call schedules for P1/P2 incidents outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with Mendix Low-Code platform and its microflows, domain models, and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure changes follow Change Management and compliance protocols.
• Document findings and workarounds in the Knowledge Base.

Job description

We are seeking a specialized Low-Code Application Support Specialist with strong Mendix platform knowledge to join our global team. In this role, your primary focus will not be developing applications from scratch, but rather utilizing your Mendix expertise for deep troubleshooting, root-cause identification, and maintaining the operational health of existing business-critical applications.

You will act as the technical backbone for the Low-Code operational tower, analyzing application logic, reviewing integrations, and collaborating with client’s internal developers and business stakeholders to ensure high availability and compliance.

Team structure and support coverage

As part of a globally distributed team spanning UTC-6, UTC+1, and UTC+8 time zones, you will contribute to around-the-clock service coverage. This role includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule, providing support for critical P1/P2 incidents outside standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert L2/L3 support specifically for Mendix-based enterprise solutions.
• Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor for the dedicated global Mendix team.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on Mendix applications to resolve complex incidents.
• Analyse application logs, microflows, and data models to identify logic errors or performance bottlenecks.
• Support system integrations, working with APIs and middleware platforms (e.g., SAP PI, MuleSoft) connected to the Mendix ecosystem.
• Resolve authentication issues and integrations with SSO providers (Okta, Active Directory).
• Liaise directly with client stakeholders and Mendix development teams/vendors to propose code fixes and architectural improvements.
• Ensure all application changes and updates are executed in accordance with Change Management and compliance protocols.
• Document technical findings, resolutions, and operational workarounds in the Knowledge Base.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Education which suit the position

• University education (Bachelor's degree)
• University education (Master's degree)

Must have:

• Experience working with the Mendix Low-Code platform (understanding of microflows, domain models, and application architecture is essential).
• Strong analytical mindset focused on troubleshooting and reverse-engineering of issues rather than development of applications.
• Experience with System Integration concepts (REST/SOAP APIs, OData, Middleware).
• Proficiency in log file analysis and debugging integrated systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps framework and Agile delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of ITSM / ITIL processes (Incident, Change Management).
• Comfortable interacting with developers, business analysts, and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken) to interact with global users.

Nice to have (considered a big plus):

• Mendix Certification (Rapid Developer or higher).
• Experience with managing Cloud platforms (AWS basics / Amazon Workspaces).
• Knowledge of enterprise database systems (SQL).
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485).
