Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.
• Valid PRC License.
• Preferably with at least 3 months of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and medical technology principles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Explain laboratory procedures clearly to patients.
• Assess specimens for condition, acceptability, and suitability for testing.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before and after blood collection.
• Examine collected specimens and identify abnormalities.
• Perform laboratory tests and ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Adhere strictly to DOH regulations and laboratory standards.
• Document patient data accurately through charting.
• Monitor inventory and ensure availability of laboratory supplies.
• Submit monthly census reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
