Job summary

Accudetek Health Diagnostics in Pasig is seeking a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology graduate for an on-site, full-time Medical Technologist position. No prior experience is required as training will be provided, and candidate must be a Registered Medical Technologist (RMT).

Responsibilities include maintaining safe handling of laboratory machinery, performing specimen collection, encoding results, and ensuring quality and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Medical Technologist (RMT).
• With or without prior experience (training will be provided).
• Knowledgeable in proper specimen collection and handling.
• Patient-oriented, detail-oriented, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and proper handling of laboratory machines and equipment.
• Perform all forms of specimen extraction and collection.
• Maintain proper accountability of laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Conduct home service procedures when required.
• Encode laboratory results into the system as needed.
• Ensure cost efficiency in the use of laboratory supplies and reagents.
• Perform and analyze laboratory examinations using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated methods.
• Ensure timely release of patient results and monitor pending tests.
• Comply with laboratory policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Technologist and/or Pathologist.
